I
am honored to kick off my 2010 Women for Schooley campaign
with the help of our First
Lady Carla Markell. She has graciously agreed to kick
off the Women for Schooley Breakfast on Wednesday, September
15, 2010 from 8:00 to 9:30 am at the Christiana Hilton. Sonia
Sloan and County Councilwoman Lisa Diller again are serving
as Honorary Chairs of Women for Schooley and will host the
event. Our First Lady is an incredible role model and I am
pleased to have her support.
Please
join me at this event. I hope to see many familiar faces as
well as some new ones. Events like this are a wonderful opportunity
for women to network and renew friendships and I look forward
to seeing you.
The
goal of Women for Schooley is to ensure that issues important
to women are kept in the forefront in our state government,
and, as importantly, to let others know that women will contribute
to the goal of putting more women in the Delaware General
Assembly.
